We are set in the heart of Wadebridge in an historic converted coach house, still with the original features. The restaurant has 70 covers inside set over 2 floors and 25+ outside in a pretty and secluded cobbled courtyard. This enables us to cater for the larger party as well as more intimate dining.
We have been the proud owners of this family run bistro for the last 3 years. During this time we have built an enviable reputation for providing local people and visitors alike with the best produce this county has to offer. We are predominantly fresh fish and shellfish specialists, with char-grilled Cornish steaks, sizzling Cajun dishes, hand rolled traditional thin crust Italian pizzas and vegetarian dishes also on the menu.
Our recipes respect the seasons and local game is also included. Our dishes are all freshly cooked to order and served in a simple, uncomplicated style letting the quality and freshness of our ingredients speak for themselves.
We are sure the friendly and informal style of our service from our loyal and attentive staff will leave you with good memories of an enjoyable evening with good food.

About your hosts & staff
When we arrived we were lucky enough to take on a team of local staff both front of house and in the kitchen. Their hard work and enthusiasm has enabled us to run the restaurant smoothly and efficiently. Many of them are still with us today. Emma’s role, along with looking after 3 young children, is to manage front of house and be hands on as much as possible - time allowing! Peter is the grumpy looking chef in the kitchen - after nearly 30 years as a chef working mainly in London’s West End, its not surprising!! He has Michelin star experience and won an AA rosette for his previous employer, the 4* Metropole hotel in Padstow.
